Our Methodologies
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is defined as the science in which principles of the analysis of behavior are applied systematically to improve socially significant behavior(s), and in which experimentation is used to identify the variables for change in the behavior. Currently, best practices support the use of evidence-based programming in treating individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
CLASS provides a multitude of methodologies that fall within the category of ABA, evidence-based best practices. They include, but are not limited to the following:
- Functional Assessment
- Initial Assessment
- Discrete Trial Training (DTT)
- Applied Verbal Behavior (APV)
- Pivotal Response Training (PRT)
- Natural Environment Teaching (NET)
- Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)
